Annie R. (Drake) O'Neal Norris

Thomson- Mrs. Annie R. (Drake) O’Neal Norris, 89, widow of Mr. Billy Norris, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in the University / McDuffie Hospital

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Norris was born in Oglethorpe County, but had lived many years in Thomson. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Williams. Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Clinton) Norris, Thomson; her son, Mike (Vicki) O’Neal, Thomson; her sister, Mae Widener McCullough, Fl.; 7 grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Carter, Jennifer (Brian) Youngblood, Craig Norris, Chad (Kerie) Norris, Cassie (Bryan) Parrott, Brent Williams, and Russell Williams; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of Chad Norris or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
