Mr. Earl Usry

Thomson: Mr. Earl Usry, 74, entered into rest Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 14, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Usry and Butch Baston officiating.

Mr. Usry was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was the retired owner and operator of Usry T. V.. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son: Mr. Chris (Leigh Anne) Usry, Thomson; his two sisters, Joann Wren and Jeannine Stevenson, both of Thomson; his two brothers, Garvin Usry Jr., Wrens, and Rev. Wayne Usry, Greensboro; his 4 grandchildren, C.J. Usry, Stan Newsome, Christian Newsome, and Allison Newsome; and his special friend, Mrs. Linda Usry.

Friends may call at the residence of Chris and Leigh Anne Usry, or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 on Thursday prior to services at Sweetwater Baptist Church.
