Mr. Harold Glennie Peebles

Thomson- Mr. Harold Glennie Peebles, 66, beloved husband of Mrs. Wanda Peebles, entered into rest Thursday, December 7, 2017, in University Hospital Augusta.  He was the son of the late Mr. William Adolphus Peebles and Mrs. Marywill Kitchens Peebles.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 10, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Dr. Phil Pilgrim officiating.

Mr. Peebles was a native of Jefferson County but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired superintendent with Allen-Batchelor Construction.

Mr. Peebles was preceded in death by his daughter Shannon Elkins and a brother Charles Peebles.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wanda Peebles, Thomson; four daughters, Tammy Cioe (Bobby), Marsha Peebles, Christina Peebles, and Wendy McTaggart (Phillip); two sons, Harold A. Peebles (Jessica) and Eric Craft (Stormey); sister, Carolyn Woods; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
