Dearing- Mr. Hughie Kent Willis, Jr., 63, entered into rest Sunday, August 20, 2017 in University Hospital McDuffie.  

Mr. Willis was a native of Mississippi, but had lived in Dearing for several years.  He worked for Thomson Plastics for several years. 

Mr. Willis is survived by a daughter, Kellie Willis, Dearing; a grandson, Austin Willis; one sister, Sandy McKinley; and a brother Keith Willis.

No visitation or memorial service is scheduled.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
