Inez Amerson Cooler

Dearing- Mrs. Inez Amerson Cooler, 99, widow of Mr. James H. Cooler Sr., entered into rest Monday, May 01, 2017 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta.

 A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, in Dearing Memorial Cemetery with  Mr. Jack McCorkle officiating.

Mrs. Cooler was a native of Stillmore, Georgia, but had lived in Dearing for many years.  She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cooler was preceded in death by her husband, James Cooler, two sons, Jimmy and Gene, grandson, Brian Cooler and sister, Martha Curl.   Survivors include her  son, Albert Cooler, Dearing; daughter, Martha Skillicorn, Utah; her daughter-in-law, Joann Cooler, Dearing: five grandchildren, Kathi (Scott) Hjelm, Utah, Glen (Tammy) Cooler, Grovetown, Albert (Angie) Cooler, Milledgeville, Jamie Cooler, Augusta, and Allen (Gina) Horton, Naples, FL; 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Sybil Lamb.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Palmer, Monty Baldwin, Michael Steel, Matthew Harris, Terry Lamb, and Danny Lamb.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
