Thomson- Mrs. Jane H. Turner, 70, entered into rest Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Gibson Health & Rehab. She was the daughter of the Late Mr. Mike Fred Hale and Mrs. Myrlie Thomas Hale. Funeral Services will be 1 P.M., Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Farmer and Pastor Steve Melcher officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Turner was a native of Marion County, Georgia, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a seamstress before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Turner and brother, Johnnie B. Sinns. Mrs. Turner is survived by two daughters, Missy Wickware (Chad Hilliard) of Tignall, and Lisa Marsh (Eddie) of Thomson; a son, Steve Turner (Vickie) of Thomson; two sisters, Carolyn McNair (Jimmy) and Barbara Pearson (Randy) both of Thomson; three brothers, Larry Sinns of Gibson, Michael Ray Hale (Janice) of Dearing, and Randy Hale (Melissa) of Texas; six grandchildren, Daniel Montgomery, Alan Marsh, Dillon Marsh, Brittney Turner, Lindsey Turner, and Katie Wickware; and three great-grandchildren, Amy Montgomery, Drake Marsh, and Kingston Wickware. Pallbearers will be Tyler Key, Michael Hohlwein, Tucker Hohlwein, Ricky Bragg, James Hale, Sam Webber, Joey Key, and Will McNair. The family will be accepting visitors at the home of Mr. Steve and Vickie Turner or the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday night at the funeral home.
