Mrs. Ready and Family, my sincere condolence to all of you. May your many family memories bring you comfort beyond measure to share with each other during this special time. May you also benefit from the comfort spoken of in the second letter to the Corinthians 1:3,4.

I will miss my friend, Leon. I loved our conversations and our arguments. He never hesitated to share his opinions and, of course, he was always right. He had a gentle and loving heart which he covered with thistles and thorns so no one would ever know, but his friends knew, and we treasured him. There will be many "Leon stories" and "remember whens" and we will keep his memory alive. He lived life to his own melody but he was a marvelous dancer. Old friends are special and I was blessed to have him share my journey. Good bye, my friend, I love you.

Leon loved to fish. I have fond memories of him and Willard Martin fishing for schooling stripers and hybrids at the lake. He always had a kind word for me and asked about my Daddy when I would see him at the marina. R.I.P. dear friend.

I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Leon. Craig knew Leon better than I did and I know he would be sad to hear of his death. Leon was very personable and left behind a legacy of love and many friends.. I will be lifting all the family up in my prayers for GOD to comfort your hearts and fill you with HIS LOVELY PEACE.
LOVE IN CHRIST,
Craig and Linda

So sorry to hear of Leon's posting. He was a co-owner (with Doug Pentecost) of Raysville Marina where I kept my boat for several years. He and I shared our love for hybrid/striper fishing and we'd see each other on Clarks Hill Lake while chasing the schooling fish.
