Mrs. Margaret Lucille Fitzgerald

Appling- Mrs. Margaret Lucille Fitzgerald, 87, entered into rest Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Lake Crossing Health Center.  She was the daughter of the Late Mr. Palmer Smith and Mrs. Louise Baston Smith.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Shirley Suarez officiating.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. 

Mrs. Fitzgerald was a lifelong resident of Columbia County.  She retired as a seamstress with the Arrow Company after twenty years of service. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for twenty years.  

Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Albritton (Daniel), Avon Park, FL.; two sons, John Randall Fitzgerald (Nancy), Tallahassee, FL and Charles Allen Fitzgerald (Sally), McDonough, Ga.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Adams, Canton, Ga.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church 5970 Cobbham Road Appling, Georgia 30802.

Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
