Mr. Millard Wayne Farmer
Thomson- Mr. Millard "Wayne" Farmer, 80, died Sunday, February 18, 2018, at University McDuffie Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Farmer was born in Columbus Georgia, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a Baptist. He served in the Georgia National Guard and had retired from the Badcock Company as a Security Guard.
Survivors include his two sons, Lesley Farmer (Ann Marie), Boneville and Russell Farmer (Rhonda), Thomson; his sister, Mrs. Peggy Hammond, Thomson; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Spiva, Tristan Farmer, and Heather Stiles; and one great-grandchild, Jaina Spiva.
Pallbearers will be Lee Hammond, Scott Hammond, Tristan Farmer, Chad Spiva, Todd Wyrosdick, and Michael Hefner. Honorary Pallbearer will be W.J. Faglier
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Union Baptist Church Youth Fund P.O. Box 1435 Thomson, Georgia 30824.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
