Mrs. Myrtis P. Prevette

Thomson- Mrs. Myrtis P. Prevette, age 91, entered into rest Thursday, June 01, 2017 in Augusta University Medical Center.  Mrs. Prevette was the daughter of the Late Mr. Ed Palmer and Mrs. Marie Cox Palmer.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gary Palmer officiating.

Mrs. Prevette was a native of Columbia County, but had lived in Thomson for many years.  She was retired from Thomson Company as a seamstress, and a member of Thomson Church of Christ.

Mrs. Prevette is survived by a son, Thomas Wesley (Jane) Prevette, Thomson; two sisters, Frances McMichael and Alice Hammock, both of Thomson; a brother, Gene Palmer, Thomson; two granddaughters, Tammy (Phillip) Lockhart, Thomson and April (Avery) Poss, Waynesboro; five great-grandchildren, Wesley Lockhart, Blake Poss, Payton Poss, Beverly Poss, and Lilly Poss.

Friends may call or visit the family at the residence, 273 Pinedale Drive Thomson, Georgia 30824.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
