Mrs. Sherry McKee

Thomson- Mrs. Sherry McKee, 61, entered into rest Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Helen Wadley Barnes and Mr. Diamond Barnes.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. McKee was born in San Bernardino, California, but had lived many years in Thomson.  She was in insurance sales before become a homemaker. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Louis. Survivors include her three daughters, Karen Ivey (Ken), Gibson, Melissa Graham (Edward), and Lisa Peebles (Pokie), both of Thomson; two sons, Royce Culver (Shawna), Dearing, and Daniel Culver (Kimberly Ensley), Munsford, Oklahoma; a sister, Jeanie Reese (Herb), Thomson;  four brothers, Randy Barnes, Tulsa, Ok., Kenny Barnes and Kerry Barnes, both of California, and Terry Barnes, Missouri; numerous grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Curtis Funeral Home.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
