Thomson- Mrs. Stephanie Humphrey McCord, 40, beloved wife of Mr. Ricky McCord, entered into rest Wednesday December 13, 2017 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Hugh Darvin Humphrey and Mrs. Sharon Mason Campbell.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017, in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alan Holbrook and Rev. Butch Baston officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. McCord was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. She was a 1995 graduate of Thomson High School; she graduated from Augusta State in 2000 with her Bachelors of Business Degree. She later attended the University of Georgia where she obtained her Master’s Degree. She was retired from ADP as a performance consultant, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of UGA Football, and was a member of the Red Coat Marching Band. She was a member of the Pink Models of Courage- Atlanta Team.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky McCord, Thomson; two sons, Colby W. McCord and Keller A. McCord, both of Thomson; a sister, Kathy Humphrey, Augusta; two brothers, Christopher Humphrey, Thomson and Duanne Humphrey(Liz), Dearing; special niece, Grace Humphrey; and a special aunt, who was like her mother, Mrs. Faye Montgomery Wood; and special friend, Earnestine Hill.
Pallbearers will be Art Harris, Craig Chapman, Andy Hobbs, Trey Kennedy, Justin Daniel and Van Dixon.

Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home. The Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
