Mrs. Thelma S. Ashley

Thomson- Mrs. Thelma S. Ashley, 96, widow of Mr. Paul J. Ashley, entered into rest Friday, February 02, 2018 at Thomson Health and Rehab.                                  

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018 in the Sanctuary of Thomson First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lambert officiating. 

Mrs. Ashley was a native of Anderson S.C., but had lived in Thomson for many years.  She was retired from Kingsley Mills. She was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church since 1950 where she taught Sunday school.

Mrs. Ashley is predeceased by her husband, Mr. Paul Julian Ashley and a son Mr. William Stanley Ashley.  Mrs. Ashley is survived by a daughter Carolyn White (Bob); a son Jeffrey Ashley (Phyllis); daughter-in-law, Lynn Ashley Rohovit; five grandchildren, Lacey Ashley Rogers (Will), William Keith Ashley, Shawn Ashley (Vicky Thrasher), Bob White III (Mollie), Ashley White Lowry (Kent); ten great-grandchildren, Bobby White, Abby White, Norah Lowry, Whit Lowry, Megan Leonelli, Brittany Ashley, Bryce Ashley, Blaire Easley (Jimmy), Collin Strait, and Grant Ashley.

Friends may call at the funeral home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Atrium of Thomson First Baptist Church.
