Wallace Davis

Dearing- Mr. George Wallace Davis, 84, widower of Mrs. Carrie Brannon Davis, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Frank Thigpen and Rev. Kim Hancock  officiating.

Mr. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was a business owner, having run the family farm for many years. He was a member of the Dearing United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Brannon Davis, his parents, James and Ethel Davis, and several siblings. Survivors include his two sons, George Wallace (Angela) Davis Jr. and Ralph Douglas Davis, both of Dearing: his grandson, Matthew Wallace (Jessica) Davis, Dearing; and his two great-grandchildren, Maddie Claire and Marlie, both of Dearing.

The family would like to thank Regency Hospice for their care.
