Thomson- Mr. Albert (Al) Wallace, 84, entered into rest Friday, April 12, 2019, at his residence.  He was the son of the late Mr. Charles Edward Wallace and Mrs. Rose Elmore Wallace.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with the Minister Matt Shelton officiating.

Mr. Wallace was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, but has lived in Thomson for many years.  He was retired as an Accountant; Vice President with GIW Industries for over 25 years prior to that he was an Accountant at Uniroyal.  He was an active member of Church of Christ in Thomson.  He was a member of the Optmist Club and Rotary Club of Thomson.  He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Deepe Wallace, brother, James Wallace of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is survived by his three sons, Jim Wallace and John Wallace, both of Thomson, and Charles Wallace (Linda), Dearing; 4 grandchildren Alana Darrah (Jarrett), Nick Wallace, Jennifer Ellis (Kenny) and Ty Wallace; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
