Betty Gene (Braswell) Ansley

Boneville - Mrs. Betty Gene Ansley, 84, widow of Mr. Clinton C. Ansley, Jr., entered into rest Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at University Hospital McDuffie.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Bonnie Braswell and Mrs. Lena Blackston Braswell. Funeral Services will be 3 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.  Interment will follow in Boneville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Ansley was a native of Blyth, GA, but had lived in Boneville for many years.  She was a retired business owner. 

Mrs. Ansley was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clinton C. Ansley, Jr.; two sons, Gordon Ansley and Paul Ansley; a daughter, Deborah Hester; and a granddaughter, Amber Hinton.

Survivors include her daughter, Mitzi Usry (Mickey); a son, Clinton C. Ansley (Pauline); thirteen grandchildren, Joseph Vines, Samantha Vines, Victor Ansley, Velvet Kime (Mitch), Daphne Ansley, Paul Ansley, Ronnie LeBlanc, Cecil LeBlanc, Christopher Griffin, Addeline Ansley, Stephanie Rhodes (Reid), Tiffany Hyman, and Kayla Slate (Raymond); twenty-two great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Lourdes Estrella-Ansley; a son-in-law, Fred Hester; and two special friends, Johnny Marshall (Darla) and Carla Howlett.

Pallbearers will be Ronald LeBlanc, Cecil LeBlanc, Gavin LeBlanc, Kenny Wade, Joseph Vines, and Reid Rhodes.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
