Dearing - Mr. George Ronnie Beckworth, 62, entered into rest Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his residence. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019,  in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Reese officiating. Interment will follow in Harlem Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Beckworth was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County.  He was a truck driver for Town and Country Packing, prior to working at Dixie Lock and Safe.

Survivors include his daughter, Krystal Cobb; mother, Della Key Jones, Aiken, South Carolina; fiancée, Lisa Shaw, Dearing; two grandchildren; sister, Sandy Boone; brother, Kenny Jones; two stepsons, Kyle Shaw and Joseph Shaw; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Shaw, Joseph Shaw, Timmy Lampp, Hunter Lampp, Cale Tiner, and Russell Bohler.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
