Mrs. Grace Reddick Curtis
Thomson – Mrs. Grace Reddick Curtis, 98, entered into rest Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Marshall Pines in Evans, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held in Westview Cemetery on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Lambert officiating.
Mrs. Curtis was a native of Screven County, GA. She had made Thomson her home for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Sunday School Class at Thomson First Baptist Church. She loved her church family and God’s word, which she read from her Bible daily. Family and friends say her name “Grace” fits her well.
She was predeceased by her parents Mr. Jack C. Reddick and Mrs. Lina Evans Reddick; her husband, Mr. Jimmy Curtis; a son, Mr. Clarke Curtis; six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Daniel Curtis (Heather), Thomson, Michael Curtis (Michelle), Ridgeland, S.C., Joshua Curtis (Rebecca), Florissant, Missouri, Emily Romig (Jeremy), Louisiana, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren, Brittany Curtis, Stephen Curtis, Craig Curtis, Christopher Cole, Breanna Curtis, Grayson Curtis, Isaiah Curtis, Evangaline Curtis, Anneliese Curtis, Evan Romig, Jeremiah Romig, and Malachi Romig.
The family will receive friends this Friday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
