Larry Welch

Thomson- Mr. Larry Welch, 69, died Saturday, October 21, 2017, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Don Widener officiating.

Mr. Welch was born in Wilkes County, but had lived in McDuffie County all his life. He was a retired Sheet rocker and a Baptist.

Survivors include his two sons, Richard Welch, Thomson, and Johnny Welch, Martinez; his daughter, Tiffany Taylor, Dearing; his brother, David Welch, Boneville; seven grandchildren, Devin Taylor, Gabby Taylor, Leah Taylor, Gunner Carson, Stevye Jordan, Kobie Tudor and Brittany Welch; one great-grandchild Jaiden Walton.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to services on Wednesday

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
