Mrs. Nealie W. Chalker
Gibson- Mrs. Nealie W. Chalker, 69, entered into rest Sunday, January 21, 2018 at University Hospital Augusta. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Clinton M. Wilkerson and Mrs. Mattie Bland Wilkerson.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 25, in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.
Mrs. Chalker was a lifelong resident of Glascock County. She was a janitor for UPS and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church.
Mrs. Chalker was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Vella Criswell, Frankie Benson, and Jeanette Evans, two brothers Clinton Martin Wilkerson, and J. W. Wilkerson. Survivors include her sister Belva Reese (Larry), Martinez; brother, Ernest “Doc” Wilkerson, Thomson; two special nieces, Tammy Cheely (Robert) and Beverly Webb (Dave); numerous nieces and nephews; great niece Kaleigh Wilkerson; Michael Clark and several extended family members.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
