Mr. Robert William Gay

December 26, 1930 – November 22, 2017

Boneville- Mr. Robert William Gay, age 84, He loved the lord and played his tape recorder of old gospel songs and carried around a little bible in his overall top pocket every day.  He never met a stranger.  He loved the lord so much he would ask if he could sing one of the songs he wrote at Boneville United Methodist Church morning service.  He’d rather go hungry to fish every weekend, he loved to fish. 

Son of Mrs. Annie Mae Gay and Mr. Edward T. Gay of Boneville, retired farmer, Husband to Florence M. Gay (Unger) she’s retired as an inspector from Almar Manufacturer.  Step dad to Mary M. Brim; Brother to James T. Gay of Langley, S.C. and Hazel Gallahar of Augusta.  Nephew to Florece Pennington and Gladys Chafin both of Augusta; Frances Lollis of Beton S.C., Effie Williford of Union Point Georgia and Leila McElhannon of Gough, GA.,  Mr. John Saxon of Lexington S.C.
