Mr. Robert Edward Neal

Thomson – Mr. Robert Edward Neal, 88, entered into rest Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Thomson Health and Rehabilitation.

A graveside service will be held in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Reese officiating.

Mr. Neal was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County.  He was retired from civil service at Fort Gordon and a member of Thomson First Baptist Church.

He was predeceased by his parents Freddy Neal and Ruby Luckey Neal, a son, Michael Edward Neal, and brother, Willie Joe Neal.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Neal, Thomson; son Keith Neal (Debbie), Thomson; two grandchildren, Jason Neal, Thomson and Holly Neal Campbell (Bruce), Martinez.

There will be no visitation.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
