Mr. Samuel David Crewsonberry

Dearing- Mr. Samuel David Crewsonberry, age 54, beloved husband of Mrs. Hollie Crewsonberry, entered into rest Friday, August 18, 2017.  He was the son of the late Mr. William Demespy Crewsonberry and Mrs. Barbara Lee Heath Crewsonberry.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Roseberry Cemetery in Mascot, Tn., with the Rev. Charles Reese officiating.

Mr. Crewsonberry was a native of Knoxville, TN., but had lived in McDuffie County for over 30 years.  Mr. Crewsonberry was the lead service technician with Boswell Oil Company, and a member of Second Chance Independent Church.  David was a loving husband, father, brother, and was a dear friend to many.  He loved to hunt, fish, and play his guitar and help others.  David was the type of man that if you met him you would never forget him.  

Mr. Crewsonberry was preceded in death by a daughter Slynda Crewsonberry.  Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Hollie Crewsonberry, Dearing; a son, Dave Crewsonberry, Dearing; three daughters, Samantha Ezell (Jerry), Knoxville, TN., Shanna Crewsonberry,  Virginia, Tracy Stinnett and Leondria Jones (Chris), Indiana; fourteen grandchildren; a brother, Robert Crewsonberry (Gloria), Harlem; and three sisters, Linda Loy (Ed) and Carol Lamb (Joe), both of Mascot, TN.,  Sandra Gail Crewsonberry, Knoxville, TN.

Friends may call at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
