Thomson- Mr. W.J. Faglier, 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothy Faglier, entered into rest Sunday, March 25, 2018, in University Hospital McDuffie. He was the son of the late Mr. Cleon Faglier and Mrs. Ouida Smith Faglier.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with the Reverend Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Faglier was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired truck driver with F & W Transportation. He was Air Force Veteran in the Korean War. He was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
Mr. Faglier is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Faglier, Thomson; daughter, Gwen Darden, Warrenton; son, Rick Faglier (Janice), Dearing; 2 Brothers, Hoyt Faglier, Edgefield; Kenneth Faglier, Dearing; 3 Sisters, Vera Maietta, Beech Island; Anne Klisavage, Evans; Maureen Hattaway, Clearwater; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony Radford, Callaway Workman, Bill Vaughn, Shawn Faglier, Austin Faglier and Richard Faglier, Jr.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
