William Junior Usry

Thomson - Mr. William Junior Usry, 75, entered into rest Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Thomson Health and Rehabilitation. 

A funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bobby Farmer and Rev. Jerry Rockefeller officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery  Mitchell, Georgia.

Mr. Usry was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years.  He was a Line Foreman and a member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church.

Mr. Usry was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.  Survivors include his sister, Gladys Land (Bobby), Thomson; son, Wesley Usry (Julie); daughter, Lisa Usry; several nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Wayne Warren, Rick Warren, Ronnie Brooks, George Perryman, Garrett Warren and Billy Kitchens.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night, at the funeral home.
