Alice Irene (Gumm) Gingery

Thomson - Mrs. Alice I. Gingery, 57, beloved wife of Randy S. Gingery, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in the Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Lee Miller officiating.

Mrs. Gingery was a native of Milwaukee, WI, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She worked at Shaw Industries for over 20 years and was a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Laura Gumm. She is survived by her husband, Randy S. Gingery, Thomson; her daughter, Lynn (Michael) Gingery, Thomson; her son, Randy (Felicia) Gingery, Jr., Thomson; her four grandchildren, Chris Jacobs, Michael Scott Land, Riley Gingery, and Mila Gingery, all of Thomson; her three sisters, Diane (John) Coolidge, Anita Burnett, and Sara Ann Gumm; and her brother, Jim (Gina) Gumm.

Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday prior to the services.
