Barbara (Noggle) Hill

Thomson - Mrs. Barbara Hill, 90, widow of Mr. Durwood Hill, Sr., died Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the Piedmont / Augusta Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hill was born in Greensboro, Ga., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She worked for many years at Kingsley Mill, then Shoney’s and at Sprint.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Durwood Hill, Sr.; her two sons, Durwood Hill, Jr. and Kenny Hill; and her grandson, D.J. Reese. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Withrow, Thomson and her son, Willie Hill, Thomson; her five grandchildren, Stephanie Reese, Adam Hill, Casey Hill, Ray Hill, and Tiffany Burke; her 6 great-grandchildren and her 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Danny Reese, Adam Hill, Buddy Noggle, James Withrow, and Ray Hill.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
