Note from Amie Hardy:
"We're holding a celebration of life for Ben this Saturday. We didn't want to have a formal service because that is not something that he would have wanted. He really wouldn't want any fuss to be made about him at all, but we feel he deserves to be remembered and reminisced by family and friends to celebrate the life he led. Anyone who would like to participate is welcome and encouraged to attend. We will be providing food and refreshments and would love to hear your stories and memories of and with him. My brother Matt Owns and his wife Charlene Owens have been kind enough to open their home for this event. I would rather not publicly post their address, but you can contact me, Matt, Charlene, James Owens and/or Susan Finley Owens for the address and directions. Thank you all for the kind words and condolences sent forth to our family during most difficult time. We love y'all".
