Bennie English

Thomson - Mr. Bennie English, 89, widower of Mrs. Frances Lloyd English, died Sunday, August 15, 2021, in the University / McDuffie Hospital. 

A memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, in the Westview Cemetery with Dr. Steve Dodson officiating.

Mr. English was a native of Warren County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. He was retired from the Construction industry having worked for Clausen Paving, Knox-Rivers Construction, and Reeves Construction Company. He was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Mary English, Thomson and Anne (David) Wyatt, Locust Grove; his son, Ben (Julie) English, Grovetown; his seven grandchildren; Daniel Wyatt, Justin Wyatt, Patrick Wyatt, Shane Rimmer, Arik Loksson, Travis Rimmer, and Brittany (Daniel) Clairmonte; and his 14 great-grandchildren. 

There will be no visitation.
