Bennie Frank Evans

Harlem - Mr. Bennie Frank Evans, 76, beloved husband of Mrs. Marcia Hinton Evans, died Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Piedmont / Augusta Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the Camak Baptist Church, with Rev. Bryant Neal officiating.

Mr. Evans was born in Warren County, but had lived in Columbia County for many years. He was retired from Martin-Marietta Camak Plant, as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Camak Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia H. Evans, Harlem; his son, William Olin Evans, Harlem; his three daughters, Judy Lynn Hansen, Harlem, Debbie Kay Phillips and  Annette Lea Withrow, both of Thomson; his two sisters,  Mary Mooney, Thomson, and Shirley Hillman, Gibson;  his 6 grandchildren, Dalton Morris, Cody Morris, Breanna Slover, Alex Withrow, Lexy Withrow, and Destiny Smith; and his three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence or at the church on Saturday.
