Bernice (Purvis) Arnold

Thomson- Mrs. Bernice Arnold, 79, beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Rebie Purvis, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in the Augusta University Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. 

Ms. Arnold was born in Wilkes County and lived in McDuffie County for many years and later lived in California before moving back home to McDuffie County. She was retired as a Deputy Tax Collector after 26 years of service with the County of Riverside.

Survivors include her three sons, Sean Arnold, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, Lance Arnold and Rex Arnold, of Riverside Ca.; and her brother, Wilbur Purvis, Thomson
