Betty (Chalker) Edmunds

Dearing - Mrs. Betty Chalker Edmunds, 75. beloved wife of Mr. Tommy Edmunds, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, at her residence.

 A remembrance gathering will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Edmunds was a native of Gaffney, SC, but had lived in Dearing for many years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer T. and Lucy Chalker. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Edmunds, Dearing; her two daughters, Kimberly Dianne (Donald) Ray, Grovetown and Amanda Michelle (Scott) Bradford, Evans; her four sisters, Brenda (Billy) Newsome, Linda Howell, Mattie Adams, and Grace Crider; her four grandchildren, Hunter (Kallie) Akridge, Rebecca Lynne (Stanley) Getty, Morgan Bradford, and Carson Bradford; and her two great-grandchildren, Brantley Daniel Wheeler and Cooper Thomas Akridge.
