Bobby R. Evans, Sr.

Dearing - Mr. Bobby R. Evans, Sr., 83, beloved husband of Mrs. Janice Evans, died Thursday, August 11, 2022, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Evans was a native of Lincoln County, but had lived in Thomson and Dearing for many years. He was a retired Revenue Agent with the Department of Revenue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dono and Alice Evans; his sister, Juanita Evans Roberson; and his brothers, Jimmy and Sammy Evans. Survivors include his wife, Janice Evans; his daughter, Lynn Barmore (Brian); his son, Butch Evans (Kelly); his daughter, Melissa Norfleet; and his son, Brad Faglier (Paige); his sisters, Frances Ware, Donna Sue Bolton, Nikki Evans, and Millie Faye Trammell; his brothers, Wilbur Evans, Doug Evans, and William Wayne Evans; and his  grandchildren, Will Barmore (Caroline), Dr. Walker Barmore, Ethan Norfleet, Mary Lynn Evans, David Evans, Alex Norfleet, and Mikey Faglier.
