Bonnie (Johnson) Simons

Mesena - Mrs. Bonnie J. Simons, 82, widow of Mr. Larry Simons, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her residence.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11 a.m., in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.

Mrs. Simons was born in Wilkes County. She lived in Mesena, GA for many years. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Simons; her son, Mark Simons; her grandson, Justin Simons; and her parents, Wanda Hardin and Edgar Epp Johnson. Survivors include her son, Tony (Cindy) Simons, Mesena and her brother, Mickey (Jenny Ann) Johnson, Boneville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to services.
