Thomson - Ms. Brenda A. Jones, 74, entered into rest Tuesday, August 11, 2020, in the University Augusta Hospital.

Ms. Jones was a native of Newnan, Ga., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was retired from the Dozier Realty Company as the Office Manager. She was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Mitch) Bailey, Thomson; her son Benjy (Melissa) Jones, Thomson; her mother, Mrs. Wilma Duckworth, Thomson; her two sisters, Pat (Butch) Baston, Thomson and Gail (Gary) Emberling, Tx.; her brother, Bobby (Pam) Awbrey, Newnan; 2 stepbrothers, Tommy (Pam) Duckworth, Warrenton, and Terry (Jean) Duckworth, Gray; 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
