Cecil Barton "Bart" Toney

Dearing - Mr. Cecil Barton “Bart” Toney, 57, beloved husband of Mrs. Sheila Whitaker Toney, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his residence.

A private memorial will be held by his family at a later date.

Mr. Toney was a native of Oconee County, Georgia, but had lived in Dearing for several years. He was retired from road construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Julian and Mrs. Margaret Toney. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sheila Toney, Dearing; two daughters, Alisha Whitaker Irick (Jefferson Rabun) and Kayla Rodgers, both of Dearing; a sister, Wanda Morrow, Royston; a brother, John Toney, Danielsville; and 5 grandchildren, Sophia Ogeltree, Rheya Rodgers, Raelyn Rodgers, Kelby Rabun, and Josh Rabun.
