Harlem- Mr. Charles D. Ashcraft, 72, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clayton Galloway officiating. Burial will be in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ashcraft was born at Fort Gordon and had lived in Harlem for many years. He was a retired Security Guard with Sizemore Security. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Ashcraft and Eugenia “Jean” Beggs. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa (Judson) Allen, Brownsville, Tx: his two brothers, Ricky ( Doris) Ashcraft and Danny (Sharon) Ashcraft, both of Harlem; his 5 grandchildren, Trevor Allen, Sophia Allen, Scarlet Allen, Maverick Allen, and Eleanor Allen; two nephews and two nieces, D. J. Ashcraft, Kemberly Ashcraft, Johnthan Ashcraft, and Jennifer Ashcraft
