Appling- Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Carn, 56, Beloved wife of Mr. George Carn, died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in the Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Taylor and Rev. Shirley Suarez officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Carn was a native of Clarke County, but had lived in Columbia County most of her life. She was graduate of Briarwood Academy. She earned a Certificate for Interior Design from the Art Institute and an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from the South University. She was a Business Analyst with an Insurance Company. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Parniece Dozier. Survivors include her husband, Mr. George Carn, Appling; her daughter, Ms. Christa Carn, Appling; her son, Mr. Jonathan Carn, Appling; her Father, Mr. Julius Dozier, Appling; her sister, Mrs. Dede Fowler, Appling; her granddaughter, Analila Fields, Appling; and her Mother and Father-in-law, Joan and Callaway Carn.
Pallbearers will be Bill Carn, Nicholas Carn, William Burr, Rusty Winter, Doug Parker, and Joseph Fields. Honorary Pallbearers will be Calbert Schlein and Zack Carn.
Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
