Diane Usry Thompson

Gibson - Ms. Diane Usry Thompson, 57, died Monday, August 24, 2020, at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed..

Ms. Thompson was a native of Richmond County, but had lived in Warren County for some time. She was an accounting manager and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Toulson, and her father, James Usry. Survivors include her two daughters, Stephanie (Matthew) Johnson, Mitchell, and Jessica Thompson, Augusta; her long time companion, Pat Ayers; her mother, Jeannette Usry, Gibson; her sister, Debbie (Tommy) Smith, Jewell; her brother, Randy (Missie) Usry, Martinez; and her four grandchildren, Lily Johnson, Scarlett Johnson, Braelin Greenwood, and Ethan Greenwood.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all required protocols will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services on Friday, August 28, 2020, from 10 to 11.
