Donald C. Finch

Thomson- Mr. Donald C. Finch, 92, widower of Mrs. Mary Louise Finch, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the At Home Facility in Thomson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Harlem. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens, with Full Military Honors, in Grovetown Ga.

Mr. Finch was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Alabama, but had lived  in Thomson for many years. He was retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service, having served his country in Vietnam. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Harlem.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his son; Joseph; and all of his siblings. Survivors include his brother-in-law, William Spraggins (Polly) of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Jeanne Newton.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends prior to services at the Church.
