Donald H. Reeves

Thomson - Mr. Donald Reeves, 85, widower of Mrs. Hilda Reeves, died Monday, May 3, 2021, in the Warrenton Health & Rehab.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.

Mr. Reeves was a native of Staunton, Va., but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was an Air Force Veteran, was retired from Civil Service, and he was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Marvin and Grace Reeves; and his brother, Warren Reeves. Survivors include his daughter, Ms. Lorene E. Reeves, Thomson; his sister-in-law, Lucille Reeves, Virginia Beach; his niece, Cheryl Workman, Virginia Beach; and several other nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Newsome, Preston Ashley, and all McDuffie County Firefighters.

Donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
