Harlem - Mrs. Dorothy Faglier, 83, widow of Mr. W.J. Faglier, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Faglier was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years before moving to Harlem, She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. W.J. Faglier and her parents, Sam and Berta Chalker Norris. Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Darden (Randy), Harlem; her son, Richard “Rick” (Janice) Faglier, Thomson; her four grandchildren, Shawn Faglier, Richard Faglier, Jr., Chris Darden, and Macy Darden; her 6 great-grandchildren, Austin Faglier, Alyssa Faglier, Ashley Faglier, Alexis Faglier, Noah Darden, and Ansley Darden; and her caregiver, Lib Beasley
Pallbearers will be Chris Darden, Shawn Faglier, Austin Faglier, Richard Faglier, Evan Luke, and Tony Radford.
