Dearing - Mrs. Dorothy McCorkle Hobbs, 90, widow of Mr. Walter Lawrence Hobbs, died Sunday, December 13, 2020, at her residence

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Logan Huff officiating. Due to the covid 19 pandemic, face masks and social distancing will be observed.

Mrs. Hobbs was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. She was retired from Bell South. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Jennifer Faglier; and her brother, Stanley McCorkle. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Hobbs, Dearing; her son, Mike Hobbs, Dearing; three grandchildren, Bryan Hobbs, Dearing, Amiee Miles, Harlem, and Danny Hobbs, Thomson; and four great-grandchildren, Jayla Sturkey, Anthony Hobbs, Jennifer Miles, and Carlie Miles.
