Thomson - Mr. Edwin “Winde” Bradshaw, 78, Beloved husband of Mrs. Virginia Bradshaw, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at his residence.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Father Ray Whiting officiating.
Mr. Bradshaw was born in Augusta, but had lived in Thomson all his life. He was a National Guard Veteran. He was retired from the McDuffie County Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. He was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Thomson Rotary Club for years, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Annie Bradshaw, and his brother, Rev. Jim Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bradshaw, Thomson; his daughter, Teri (Jeffery) Hanna, Athens; his granddaughter, Laura Hanna, Athens; his sister, Mary Hunt (Larry) Murray, Augusta; his brother, Brink (Patty) Bradshaw, Thomson; His sister-in-law, Susan Bradshaw, Birmingham, Al.; and his caregiver, Susie Curry, Warrenton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
