Obituary

Thomson- Mrs. Eleanor M. Colvin, 81, widow of Mr. Neil Colvin, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2023, in the Westview Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Stiers officiating.

Mrs. Colvin was a native of Lincoln County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. She was the retired owner / operator of Camak Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Thomson First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Robert Martin and Lucille Partridge, her sister, Laverne Hardy, and her brother, Jim Martin. Survivors include her daughter, Lynn (Brian) Barmore, Thomson; her son Butch (Kelly) Evans, Thomson; her sister, Virginia (Ed) Turner, Lincolnton; and her for grandchildren, William Barmore, Dr. Walker Barmore, Mary Lynn Evans, and David Evans.

Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the funeral.
