Elizabeth (Cox) Dozier

Thomson - Mrs. Elizabeth Cox Dozier, 60, beloved wife of Mr. David Dozier, Jr., died Friday, July 21, 2023, in the Piedmont / McDuffie Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2023, in the Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sharon Bowman officiating.

Mrs. Dozier was  born in Atlanta, Georgia, and had lived in Cobbham for many years. She graduated from Kennesaw State with a B.S. in Finance. She was a Payroll Professional and a Licensed Real Estate Agent. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Smyrna, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mary Anne Cox, and her brother, Duane Cox. She is survived by her husband, David Dozier, Jr., Thomson; her two sons, Jordan (Sidney) Johnson, Lawrenceville, and Mason Dozier (Shelby Hanson), Woodstock; and her sister, Laurie Cox-Hines, Covington.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services and after the service.
