Emory Hugh McNair Sr.

Stapleton - Mr. Emory Hugh McNair, Sr. 68, of Stapleton, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, in University Hospital / Augusta.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Sutphin, Rev. Jimmy Richardson and Rev. Roy Frierson officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 PM.

Mr. McNair was a native of Thomson, McDuffie County, but had lived in Stapleton for many years. He was a truck driver and a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Paul and Mrs. Dorothy Peebles McNair.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Whitaker McNair, his daughter, Treva Haile (Timmy); his sons, Robert David McNair, II (Kelli) and Emory Hugh McNair, II; his sister, Jewell Duffie, Thomson; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
