Eugenia "Jean" (Ganus) Beggs

Appling - Mrs. Jean Beggs, 85, widow of Mr. Donald Beggs, entered into rest Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Lake Crossing Health Center, Appling.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 26, 2021, in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Clifton Brown officiating.

Mrs. Beggs was a native of Columbia County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. She was a Homemaker and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

Mrs. Beggs was preceded in death by her husband.  Survivors include her sons, David Ashcraft, Danny (Sharon) Ashcroft and Ricky (Doris) Ashcraft; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Harrell, Jonathan (Patti) Ashcraft, Danny Ashcraft Jr., Kimberly Ashcraft, and Melissa Ashcraft; two sisters, Mary Ivy, Harlem and Edith Dillard, Augusta; and a brother, Johnny Ganus, Govan, SC
