Floyd S. Johnson

Thomson - Mr. Floyd S. Johnson, 78, died Sunday, January 17, 2021, in Pruitt Health Care in Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Charles Reese officiating. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, face masks and social distancing will be observed.

Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was a retired carpenter. He was an Army Veteran.

Survivors include his two daughters, Melinda (Rocky) Williams and Michelle (Terry) Montgomery, both of Thomson; a son, Mike Johnson, Thomson; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Curtis Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, this Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
