Mr. Furman Penuel Talbott
After a long courageous battle with Huntington’s, Mr. Furman Penuel Talbott,68, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in the Our Heart Strings Facility in Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, With Rev. Charles Broome officiating.
Mr. Talbott was born in Clearwater FL, but grew up in Winter Haven, FL, where he graduated from Winter Haven High School. He later lived and worked in Trafalgar, Indiana. He was a gifted Stone Mason. He was also an avid Harley-Davidson rider. He retired and moved to Augusta about a year and half ago to be near his sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas M. Talbott, III and Lucretia Penuel Talbott; His brother, Thomas M. Talbot,t IV; his paternal grandparents, Thomas M.Talbott, Jr. and Thelma Talbott; and his maternal grandparents, Furman and Carrie Penuel. Survivors include his sister, Penny Talbott (Joe) Alderman, N. Augusta; his nephew, Joe Alderman, Jr.; and his cousins, Lucretia Ferguson, Rebecca Rudolph, Bill Walden, and Tom Walden.
The family would like to give their appreciation and thanks to the Caregivers at Hands of Grace Hospice and Our Heart Strings Personal Care Home.
